In summary, I'm looking for a mouthpiece that I can control, the low notes come out easily, and that can project enough to anchor a big band sax section, without taking so much air as to make me pass out. I have a friend who playes a Berg Larson so I went to WWBW and there were so many variations on tip openings and chambers I didn't know where to start. Neck has a mouthpiece extension to improve the sound of the low notes specifically designed for the Couf mouthpiece.

First my H Couf Superba II Bari sax from the 60s with a 64XXX serial number: The horn is well built, from the bell brace to the German Brass it is made from, it is a very sturdy and. Now I own one horn from 60s, 70s, and the 80s, all have their perks and disadvantages. However, this semester I was put on bari in one of the jazz bands here.
